Victory is ours to those who will truly deny themselves—that will walk up that hill following Jesus, declaring: “I do not own this day or this life. I give it entirely to God, and I am here to cultivate goodness and purity.”
The year is 2026, and capitalism, selfishness, greed, and destructive activities have become the absolute norm of the human race. It has reached mass scale, and it continues to accelerate. Who inside our society is unaware of where this is going? Is it not obvious that civilization is falling apart in an unprecedented erosion of values and integrity? Should this surprise us? Are we not a race of billions upon billions of self-centered individuals?
Look at the landscape around you. How many people are genuinely giving up being the boss of their lives? Even those who claim they have turned their existence over to God—yet their actions are so far from it.
Ask almost any Christian if they worry, and they will tell you, “Of course I do.” But that is not what it means to walk with Jesus, is it? We have fallen into the trap of telling ourselves, “I’m only human.” We are not only human! We are made in the exact image and likeness of God. Calling ourselves “only human” is nothing but a lazy nonsense we use to enable our own compromises.
There are many followers of Jesus Christ convinced that faith alone is enough and they are entitled to live this way. As you have heard, what we sow we shall reap here and hereafter. To those called to faith and the hard work of following him up that hill of non-ownership and the cultivation of goodness and purity we shall rise together.
Did not Jesus Christ say specifically: “Deny yourself, pick up your cross, and follow me”? Those words are very clear. There was an entire earthly ministry that Jesus taught before he was crucified. Are we going to simply say he died for us so we don’t have to walk up that hill and do the work? Have you denied yourself? Truly?
Look at what we are doing to our lives. Are we engaged in drugs and alcohol? What are we eating? Are we eating like our bodies are a temple, or are we treating our physical forms as just a factory for crap food that tastes good and stimulates the taste buds? What are we doing with our eyes? Are we second-glancing at people, viewing them as nothing but sexual objects? Are we just going to excuse it all by leaning on the lie that we are “not good enough”?
An ancient scripture asks us to treat our bodies as a temple of God. Has that entirely slipped away? Is that no longer of any value?
There was a time when people waited to be sexually intimate until they were married. If you are serious about authentically denying yourself and living a life with Jesus at your side to glorify God, we are going to wait until marriage before we are sexually intimate. This is not an impossible task. This is a heart-centered decision to glorify the Creator.
As for violence, do you honestly believe that violence of any sort will be tolerated in our walk? Jesus said very specifically that the Kingdom of God will not be gained through violence. Therefore, those of us choosing to deny ourselves and live for goodness and purity are not going to build walls, defenses, and ammunition. We are not going to support war. None of it. You must know this: total non-violence is the absolute way of Christ.
Is it not true that we are watching and absorbing so much media, television, and movies filled with horror, violence, and pornography? Is not pornography conditioning the human race more than almost anything else on the internet? Can we honestly say that we are not feeding on this trash? Our generation in its fallout is absolutely taking in so much harm to the point where it has been completely normalized. People are walking around in public as if they are almost in their underwear everywhere they go, looking for the wrong kind of focus.
When we see the culture raging in the fallout of its own selfishness—when older men are openly with women half or a third of their age, when pharmaceutical companies relentlessly try to convince us we are sick with the hope to pump endless chemicals into our systems, and when our visual environment is flooded with destruction—is it not becoming absolute common sense to lay it all down and choose life in the full with Jesus Christ? Is it not easier to make that choice now than ever before?
So here we are. There is no complex choice or decision to make if you plan to carry on as you have. One would just suggest you enjoy what you can while the ship is sinking.
To those of you who are called to rise, and to rise on the unshakable foundation of what it truly means to live for love—to lay down all sense of ownership, to declare “I am not the boss, I am here to give my life to love and to God, and to cultivate goodness and purity”—to those who are after life in the full, who are following Jesus Christ up that hill carrying their cross… to YOU, the victory shall be ours.
Do not think because you choose to walk powerfully toward the light of God, that most everyone else is coming with you. They are not. You may be the only one in your entire family to make this choice. You may be one of only five people in a church of a thousand. But come with all of you. Bring all of your self to bear to the glory of God.
Remember that if even only one of you truly lays down their life, the light will burn. This is the victory: when you decide “I will fully lay it down now, and I will live a life dedicated to goodness and purity. This is my truth going forward.”
Many of you will want to know who is behind the Jesus at My Side Movement. You will ask what denomination this is, who the founders are, and you will search potentially for where they are flawed in some way.
Let the truth be spoken clearly: The founder’s name is Jeffrey. He is 59 years old, living in the United States. He is a man who does not drink alcohol or do drugs for more than 30 years. Do not think for a second that Jeffrey is about works to earn favor or recognition, rather we each have to work hard to transform ourselves to honor and glorify God. Like anyone else traversing this world, he has made mistakes, fallen down but has continued to own his shortcomings, repented and continued to become a more honorable man of God.
Jeffrey is a man who never officially joined a specific denomination while at the same time he visited and participated with many of them. He is a man who studied the other religions and paths, always remaining true to the way, the truth and the life in Jesus Christ.
Look deeply at the words of this message and any future messages that you may choose to receive. Examine the fruit of these words and ask yourself if there is real integrity here. Even if you choose not to join this movement, take the very best of it back into your own groups or denominations.
As for those of you who are not presently following Jesus Christ—no matter your religion or path—you will always be welcome here. When you choose to walk with Jesus at your side, you will be blessed beyond measure. This is an open invitation.
