Jesus At My Side

We do not own worry.
I am with Jesus, and we do not worry.
For many people, this message brings immediate peace.
Others may wonder how it could be true, because worry feels so normal in human life.
But worry was never meant to be owned.
Ownership itself is one of the greatest roadblocks to true love.
God is love.
And because you are created in the image and likeness of God, the nature of that love lives within you.
True unconditional love does not own.
Jesus said:
“If you try to save your life, you will lose it.”
What he was pointing toward is this:
When we try to own life, control life, and carry life as if we are the ultimate authority over it, we suffer deeply. We begin carrying worry, fear, anxiety, and endless pressure as though they belong to us.
But they do not belong to us.
We do not own worry.
We do not own anxiety.
We do not own circumstances.
We do not own tomorrow.
We are simply called to do our best and trust God with the rest.
This is not laziness or avoidance.
It is a return to trust.
Most people, including many people of faith, carry worry every day of their lives. But Jesus continually pointed us toward another way:
“Deny yourself, pick up your cross, and follow me.”
This is not about becoming less loving.
It is about laying down the false burden of ownership and returning to the freedom of love itself.
The blessing is much greater than most people realize.
Imagine living without needing to own:
- worry,
- fear,
- anxiety,
- outcomes,
- approval,
- or the endless pressure of life.
Imagine simply doing your best and letting love guide you.
This is the heart of Jesus At My Side.
The Band
One simple part of this movement is a small band worn loosely around two fingers — the pinky and the finger beside it.
This band is not magic.
It is simply a reminder.
The hand represents our daily life and all we carry.
The small finger at our side represents Jesus walking beside us through all things.
When you see the band, you remember:
Jesus is at my side.
When you feel the gentle tension between the fingers, you remember again:
I am not alone.
The reminder becomes physical, emotional, and spiritual at the same time.
You begin to pause more.
React less.
Trust more.
Love more.
You remember the presence of God walking with you in ordinary life.
